Show Rotarians Enjoy Canyon Party The members of the Rotary' Club and their wives and guests enjoyed a canyon party Tuesday night, the event being substituted for the regular meeting Tuesday noon. Fifty-five pec-Pte enjoyed the evening. ev-ening. Steaks, prepared by Warren Larson, Lar-son, were served at the Kumen L. Jones ranch In Cedar Canyon, after which the group enjoyed a campfire program, which featured the auctioning by auctioneer H. M. Endsley of a number of prizes contributed con-tributed bv the members. The auc tion was undertaken as a means of entertainment and also as a means of promoting War Stamp purchases. The success of the venture ven-ture ls indicated by the fact that over $300 worth of stamps were sold. C. L. Ewlng and Douglas Clark, members of the Club Fellowship Committee, were In charge of the affair. The group were entertained with a number of accordlan solos by Lester Smith. |
