PAROWAN BOY REPORTED MISSING MAY BE SAFE A rumor ls being circulated In Parowan that Austin Halterman, son of Mr and Mrs. Robert Halterman, Halter-man, who was reported missing in the Pacific theatre of war some time ago, ls still alive. However, the rumor has not yet been verified. A letter from a friend of Austin, who participated In the action in which young Halterman was alleged al-leged to have been lost, Indicates that there ls a possibility that he Is somewhere on the lsland of Mlndlnao, or on one of the smaller Islands of the Philippines. Details of the story have not been divulged but the boy's relatives now have hope that he will yet return to safety.
