Show SERVE IN THE NAVY JOIN THE WAVES Today more than ever before there Is an immediate need for more WAVES. Some of the fiercest bat-j ties known to man are being fought( in the Pacific which results in a mounting list of casualties. Navy, hospitals and convalescent centers are filled with wounded sick and men who are tired. Here the WAVES are doing a splendid Job in helping help-ing them back to health and happiness. hap-piness. WAVES are also busily engaged en-gaged In various other NaVy,actlv-( ltles and due to the Increasing tempo of the Pacific war there is a stressing need for more WAVES to do their part. On this the Third Anniversary of the WAVES finds the women of the Navy busily engaged in their role in helping to jwed Victory. Admiral King stated from Washington Washing-ton D. C. that the WAVES have certainly cer-tainly proved their place In the, ranks and files of all men and women who have contributed to the successes of our Country 's effort ef-fort In this great war. The WAVES are firmly established as a component com-ponent part of the U. S. Navy and their accomplishments aje noteworthy. note-worthy. The WAVES are active In many Navy ratings, their work Is vital, and they receive Navy pay, same as the men. They are entitled en-titled to all benefits under OI bill of Rights.
