The dance will beheld Thursday, December De-cember 19. in the Cedar First Ward recreation hall. Invitations will be extended only to Seminary students, Parowan graduates of 1947, Cedar 1946 graduates, grad-uates, the Stake Presidency, and the Bishoprics of all the Wards In the Pfjowan Stake. Each person will be given two tickets, one for himself and one for a guest who does not take Seminary classes. Betty Di'Mllle Is general chairman, chair-man, and Virginia Thorley, Joyce Dennett, and Ken Wade are members mem-bers of the committee. The chairmen of other committees commit-tees are as follows: Beverley Knell, decorations; Walter Merry weather, refreshments: Edith Jolly, Programs, Pro-grams, and Roma Justet, invitations. invita-tions. LIBRARY DECORATED The horary has been the center of attraction for the past week be cause of the beautiful and interesting interest-ing way Mrs. Bethers has decorated it. The decorations consist of painted paint-ed window panes, snow scenes display dis-play wax trees, snow men, Santa Clauses, and deer; and an artis-I artis-I tlcally decorated Christmas tree.1 Of special interest are the book displays giving suggested books for , Mother, Father, Brother, and Sis-' ter. 1 ft ' STRAIGHT "AV A great Improvement in scholastic scholas-tic standards was shown by a jump n grades this six weeks period, ijast six weeks not one student received re-ceived a straight "A" card. GIRLS' tflORU'S TO GIVE CONCERT The girls' chorus of the Cedar High feehool, under the direction ot Edward R. Sandgren, will give a concert Sunday, December 22 in the Cedar First and Filth Wards, everyone Is Invited to attend.
