Show KANARRA Mr. and Mrs. Sam L. Pollock celebrated cele-brated their 50th wedding anniversary annivers-ary Dec. 10. with a family dinner at their home and a wedding dance in the evening at the church. There was a large crowd in attendance and many of their friends came from New Harmony to Join the Ward In the celebration. They received many beautiful gifts form their friends. Mr. and Mrs. Pollock are lhe par ents of 14 children, all living, and all wert present except the youngest one. They had four sons in World War II and all have returned re-turned home. Their children are Emery Pollock and Dora Duncan of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Milldred Ballard Bal-lard and Loralne Williams of Hurricane, Hur-ricane, Mrs. Cleora Ba;les of Par-owan, Par-owan, Edith Sornfon, Leda Ru'obley. Violet LaBass, Wllma Trumble and James L. and Verl Pollock, all of California, Woodrow Pollock of Cedar Ce-dar City, and Austin and Blaln Pollock Pol-lock of Kanarra. Jay and Garth Pollock have been released from the army and have ; returned home after many months overseas. Paul Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams, has been released from the Navy and is now home Mr. and Mrs Sherald Peterson and family of Boulder City ,Nev. j spent a few days here visiting relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Geo A. Berry have gone to Salt Lake City to visit with their daughters and family. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Purkor of California was here a few days vL-lt- j Ing with their parents. Mr and Mrs. i Dee Parker. Burns has been released j from service. Van, who has been j home on leave from the Navy has j returned to his base and was ac-5ompanied ac-5ompanied on the trip by his brother, broth-er, Burns and wife.
