Show OUR I SERVICE MEN AT HOME Among the service men released from duty and returned liome this week are the following: Dougles D. Hunter, released after 20 months with a unit of Engineers in Europe' and the Pacific Pa-cific theatre of operations. He entered en-tered service on June 8, 1943. Carrol D. Olds, a veteran of Marine Mar-ine action in the Solomons, Bismarck Bis-marck Archipelago, Phllllpines, and Okinawa. Jay Wilkinson, who served with the Navy for three years, and who was on sea duty for 24 months. Williams S. (Dub) Leigh, a Marine Mar-ine with Jour ye&rs service. He spent a year In the Solomons, and a year at Salpan. Albert Jensen, released after, three and a half years of. service. He spent a year and a half In the Pacific war zone. Craig F. Neptune, released after two anff a half years In service. He served in Europe and in the Pa-1 ciflc war zone, and was oversea:, for 18 months. Garth D. Pollock of Kanarra, who served In the Pacific with the Americal division for 31 months. Re holds the Purple Heart for wounds received In action. |
