Show B. A. C. Establishes Athletic Relations With Coast Schools As the result of constant efforts made by Coach Lee Llston in recent re-cent months with full support of Director Di-rector H. Wayne Driggs, very prom-lng prom-lng athletic relations have been established between the Branch Agricultural College and the Junior Jun-ior Colleges of California. The BAC Broncos have been Invited In-vited to participated in a five-state Junior college basketball tournament tourna-ment at Compton California this spring and the invitation has been accepted by the Branch College. The tournament, to be held from February 27th to March 2nd, will be a sixteen team affair, with . schools from California, Colorado. Utah, Idaho and Arizona participating. partici-pating. The California tournament fits Ideally into the BAC program since the Intermountain Junior College basketball race will end the week before the meet at Compton opens. In addition to thes invitational, "BAC has arranged an exchange of iootball games with California schools. Under this arrangement Compton Junior College will play the BAC Broncos In Cedar City, and the Broncos will meet Santa Ana Junior College At Santa in 1946 and In 1947 Santa Ana will play in Cedar Ce-dar and BAC will play at Compton. |
