Show Teen-age Group Promised Full Recreation Program For Christmas Holidays Through the effortstof Church. School and City officials, and with the support of the civic clubs of the town, a program of recreation activities ac-tivities for the teen-age group during the Christmas holidays will be provided this year. In the past there has been a full program of activities for the young peopie, from the closing of school before Ctnist-mas Ctnist-mas until it re-opened after New Year's, and in order to avoid such a condition this year, community leaders are cooperating to arrange special entertainment for the high school and college student age groups. Christmas and New Year's dance i will feature the program, since all young people are anxious for some activity on these holidays. A dance will be Held on Christmas night under un-der the supervision of the Ward M. I. A. organizations, and New Year's Eve dance will also be held. The New Year's party will be held at the high school gymnasium under the supervision of the schools and the city. Noise-makers and all the other features of the New Year's party will be provided in order that the young people may really enjoy the celebration. Another function that ma attract at-tract even greater attention than the dances, "will be a snow carnival to be held at the BAC rancn in Cedar Canyon. Transportation will be provided in order that everyone who wishes may enjoy a day of skiing, tobogganing and skating. During the afternoon chill and hot chocolate will be served. In addition, an attempt will te made to have the skating pond south of town put in usable condition condi-tion for the holiday season. Detailed Information about the events will be Announced as rapidly as arrangements are completed. |
