Show BARN AT CORBY MAIL STATION IS CONSUMED Last Tue day Mr. Andrew Cony, who only returned the first of the week from a stay i f reral weeks in Los Angeles, wa sd that his barn at the mail station about 11 miles from this city, had been burned to the ground. Whether it was the work of Incendariei or whether it was the ie suit of carol - ns : on the part of campers, Is not known; but Mr. Corry is inclined to be generous and prefers the latter opinion. The building wa.s built when Mr. Corry had the mail contract between Lund and this place and was operating the line wilh horses. It cost about $500 to build, and he carried no insurance in-surance on it. The fact that this a the fourth fire Mr. Corry has suffered during recent years makes It all the more provokim and disheartening. |
