Show JETHRO PALMER MEETS WITH SERIOUS ACCIDENT At about 2:30 o'clock this afternoon Mr. Jethro Palmer of this city met with quite a serious accident while on his way to his ranch north of Para-"onah, Para-"onah, riding a rather skittish and 'reacherous animal, and when beyond '.vip-onah a short distance he WM thronwn off and either lit on the back 'if bis head ir was kicked by the 'lorse. Mr. Robinson of Paraeonih was out corking a broncho horse in the vicin-Ity vicin-Ity and saw the horse bucking, and on reaching the spot found Mr. Palmer lying in the road unconeious, his hend in a pool of blood and a leng gash cut in his scalp. Assistance was obtained as quickly as possible and the injured man taken to Paragonah, where Dr. James Green gave first aid. Dr. Mac-farlane, Mac-farlane, who is Mr. Palmer's brother-in-law was comunicated with and left as early as possible to bring the in-pired in-pired man to this place. He was found to be suffering from a mild concussion of the brain, and was still a little hazy in regard to his redent actions, having no recollection whatever of the accident, ac-cident, except that he had a presentiment presenti-ment that something went wrong and he remembered thinking that he might have been hurt had he not been on his guard. Dr. Mc. stitched up the wound, after af-ter determining with the aid of a probe that the skull was not fractured, and the injured man is doing as well as could be expected under the circumstances. |
