Show Mies Caddie Orton entertained Monday Mon-day evening in honor of her cousin, Miss Camilla Loudcr'a birthday. Fifteen Fif-teen guests were present. The evening even-ing was spent in singing songs, telling jokes and playing games. Ice cream, cake and other refreshments were served. Dr. Burton was called to J. E. Mor-tenson's Mor-tenson's farm a few days ago to attend at-tend his son Lawrence who has an attack of typhoid fever. Tho young man has been removed to town for medical assistance and is doing as well as can be expected. Mrs. Sarah Ann Adams returned home after a visit of two months with her daughter Mrs. Francella Sorenson, While in Salt Lake Mrs. Adams had her eyes treated by Dr. Stukey, and has partial sight restored in one, having hav-ing had a cataract removed. Georgp E. Brown and son, contractors contract-ors and builders, have taken the contract con-tract to build a residence for John C. Roob in Paragonah. Work will begin at nee. Miss Fern Leigh of Cedar City is at the Culver farm assisting Mrs. Culver in the home while tho rush of farm work is on. We expect to see Mr. Richurds and family at the home coming, as he has promised to be here if his business affairs will permit. The S. J. Hanks residence has undergone un-dergone a lot of repair work and is now occupied by Geo. E. Brown's fam- iiy. Geo. Durham, James C. Robinson and Wm. H. Orton, with their families fami-lies are spending a Week in the mountains. moun-tains. Miss Ella Orton of Panguitch is here visiting, a guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gurr. Mrs. Miriam Burton entertained Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eatough at dinner din-ner Sunday evening. Mrs. Nun Parker and little ones are visiting in Leeds with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. McMullin. |
