Show GRAND COUNTY URANIUM DEPOSITS A Trio of Wealthy and Influential Gentlemen Investigate the Deposits De-posits Near Moab. A recont issue of tho Grand Volley Times contained the following: "Former Senator Thomas Kerns of Salt Lake City, probably the-most Influential In-fluential and widely known mine owner In tho state, and William A. Clark, of New York City, formorly United States Senator from Montana, and multi-millionaire copper king and railroad magnate, accompanied by E. J. Milne of Salt Lake City, secretary sec-retary of the stato juvenile commission, commis-sion, and E. D. Clark of Ophlr, Utah, a well known mining engineer, arrived ar-rived In Moab Wednesday morning and left In the afternoon for a visit to the uranium properties In Dry valley, of which Senator Kcarns and Clark and Mr. Milne aro the principal owners. After a several days Inspection In-spection of the mines they will return, re-turn, and will probably pass through Moab on Sunday. Senator Clark's private pri-vate cor is at Grand Junction during his visit to the local mining fields." |
