H Tho library board have decided to H again try a rental shelf for the beno- H fit of those who desire late fiction, H -which we do not think is always ncc- H essary on tho free circulating shelves. H The few books just received are: H Heart of the Sunset, Beach; Heart of H Philura Kingslcy, Julia Page Norris; Ridors of the Purple Sage, Grey; Still Jim, Willsie. Others aro expected. 1 Our annual report shows tho number num-ber of volumes in our library have increased in-creased to 8,005 from 2318 in Decern- bcr, 1014, and the total circulation has grown to 15,721, us compared with 11,550 during the year 10M. Our efforts ef-forts have not only been to increase the circulation. The usefulness of our jcforcnco department has been marked; mark-ed; we havo also specialized in assisting assist-ing tho public school children to use the indexes and contents of books as well as to become familiar with encyclopedias en-cyclopedias and other reference works, |
