Show PARAGONAH. Paragonah, Utah, March 27, 1916.' Born March 22, a daughter to Mr and Mrs. Leonard Bleak. All con cerned doing nicely. Mr. Nolen Openshaw returned last Saturday from Cedar City, where he has been attending school. Mr. James Davenport and daughter Delia went to Cedar Saturday to visit her daughter Maud. The occasion bo-ing bo-ing Maud's birthday. Mr. Charles Wood, one of our 8th grado pupils, accidentally fell and broke his left arm between the wrist and tho elbow laBt Saturday. The bono was set and It seems to be geti ting along nicely. Three games of basket ball wero played here last Saturday, two during tho afternoon and ono at night. TffC first was between tho Parowan and Paragonah seventh grado students, ' and the score was 28 to 14 in favor of ( Paragonah. Tho second gamo was between tho eighth grado students of the same schools. In this game tho pcore was 11 to 12 In favor of Parowan. Paro-wan. The game at night was between be-tween Parowan and Paragonah town teams, tho scora, being 35 to 28 in favor of Parowan. The local team, however, was five points ahead at tho end of the first half. The last game was well attended and very exciting from start to finish, and was followed by a dance. |
