Show RESOLUTION OF RESPECT FOR BRIG. GEN. YOUNG Post Adjutants are instructed to enter the following resolution on their permanent records: "RESOLUTION ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE STATE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE AMERICAN LEGION OF UTAH, HELD ON FRIDAY THE SECOND DAY OF JANUARY, 1920" WHEREAS, the death of Brigadier General Richard W. Young removes from our Councils the founder and the most eminent member of the American Ameri-can Legion of Utah, and one who has so graciously and so capably bestowed upon the Legion the splendid advantages advan-tages of his comprehensive experience exper-ience and gifted leadership, and WHEREAS, Brigadier General Richard W. Young, ns an accomplished accomplish-ed officer, an eminent lawyer, and a commanding figure of this state, has ever consistently and worthily exemplified ex-emplified the highest qualities of patriotic allegiance and public-spirited activity and forthright Americanism, American-ism, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, RE-SOLVED, by the State Executive Committee of The American Legion of Utah in regular session assembled that as an appreciation of the cherished cher-ished career of this distinguished soldier and earnest patriot; as a token of gratitude to our always loyal anil able adviser, and as an expression of profound sympathy to his relatives, this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the Committee, that a copy be sent to each post in Utah to form part of its permanent records, rec-ords, and that an engrossed copy thereof be transmitted, by the Adjutant, Adju-tant, to the liereaved family of our lamented champion and comrade."
