Show B. A. College News. A second victory for the B. AT basket ball squad was witnessed in a game played the night of J January 2, -when they SmwJI isjfcjf in defeating the All Star team by a score of 36 to 18. This game made it obvious that our team is progressing and have made great strides in development since the game played with the- All Star team the night before Thanksgiving, Thanks-giving, when the score was 25 to 20 in favor of the All Stars. Last Tuesday in Students' chapel the following program was given: Reading, Ramona Clark "Legend "Leg-end Beautiful." Piano solo, Mary Urie "With My Love." Talk, Willard Sargent "Personality." "Per-sonality." The debating class is now working energetically on the tariff question, The other schools of this district have not as yet accepted the .challenge made them by the B. A. C. for a triangular tri-angular debate to take place in March. The basket ball team left this morning for Beaver to meet tho Murdock Academy team. A game will be played Saturday evening. Due to the fact that John-Lunt, a star player, inju.ti his foot while playing in SCj George, the team will be somei what handicapped. However, a worthy substitute will play in his stea'd and we sincerely hone that the team will return bearing the laurels of victory. ', The English C. class is studying study-ing the lives and works of the English,writers of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. A veterinary clinic will be held on the B. A. C. grounds tomorrow tomor-row (Saturday). Dr. Whitehead will be in attendance. - - - T f |
