Adams I At the regular monthly meet- - iK of the County Commis sioners held Monday, January i 5th the following business wad t , transacted: The county Sheriff was instruqted to call on the merchant through the county who are delinquent with license, urging payment. They decided not to place a bounty on rabbits but have ordered $ldO worth of i , strychnine, which will be avail able soon and will be distributed among the farmers for the purpose pur-pose of working destruction on these pests. The county will pay expenses of Samuel W. Leigh, County Horticultural inspector, in-spector, to Logan to attend the y special class given by the Agri cultural College for horticultural Inspectois of the different ci unties unt-ies of the state. Lewis Meeks and wife from Ruby valley, Nevada, are visitors visi-tors in Parowan, having come to spend a few dayB with Mrs. Joseph Mickleson, sister of Mr. Meeks. They were former resi dents of Parowan. Mrs. Leonard Banks and family of Minersvlilo are visiting visi-ting her parents, Mr. and Mr. Peter Wimmer. Last Sunday evening bishop James L, Adams appointed the follnwng committee to prepare a pioneer celebration for January 13th: George A. Mitchell P. C. Van Buren, M. M. Decker, Miss Eleanor Guymon and Mrs. Mette Robinson. William P.ritchard has , been quite seriously ill the past week with inflammatory rheumatism, he is improving, however, at present writing.
