Show v . v IT has been practically decided to hold school on Saturdays in the Cedar District school, at least for a month or two after the holidays. The question ques-tion has been under consideration by the parents, teachers and members of the School Board for the past several weeks, both sides of the question receiving support both from members of the faculty fac-ulty and parents. The unsettled condition of the country, with the great shortage of labor, seems to make it necessary to crowd as much of the school work as possible into a short period of time in order to be in a position to meet the expected demand for help on the farms in the spring. The results of the experiment will be watched with interest in-terest by parents and others, although the practice prac-tice is by no means a new invention, as many of the schools in the northern part of the state are already utilizing Saturdays for school days.
