Show Toquerville. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bring-hurst Bring-hurst are- rejoicing over the advent of a baby girl. All concerned con-cerned doing nicely. We now have nine young peo ple at St. George attending the academy and seven teaching school in the neighboring towns. A number of teams will leave next week for Newcastle to work on the canal of tho Reclamation Recla-mation company. One case of dyptheria is reported re-ported at Bellevue in the family of Thos. Olds. Bishop Spillsbury has installed three extra gas lamps 'in the Ward Hall which give out a very brilliant light. The teachers of our schools for tho coming year are: Fred Faucett, Elsa Anderson and Florence Spillsbury, and the following named young people of this place will teach as follows: Leonard Slack, New Harmony; Linda Slack, Pine Valley; Isabel Isa-bel Jackson, Mi! ford; Fannie Klinman, Enterprise; Ruby Naegle, Tooele. All of the above named teachers are graduates of the Bracnh Normal school at Cedar City. |
