Telephone, Wasatch 8882. Volunteers are wanted to gather shoes from every locality fl in the state. There is scarcely a family anywhere but has S one or more pairs of partly used shoes in their closets, ine relief committee wants them brought out, dusted and cleaned M off it would be a real charity also to have them patched S Up and gathered at some local depot in each town and then H shipped to the above address. All expense of handling, boxing and shipping to France will be paid by the Insurance Federa- H tion. It is expected that each locality will pay the expense of boxing and sending to Salt Lake. All shipments should be made not Inter than August 10th. This is a real opportunity to do some effective relief work W without sacrifice on the part of the people of Utah, and thin appeal should meet with a hearty response. The office of this paper has been designated as head- H quarters for the collection of shoes. Bring them in, tied in H pairs, and do it today. Shipment will be made from here S August 10th.
