Show BERYL Reryl. Utah, July 31, 1917. Mr. Dudley Shellev is relieving the operator at Islam Nevada, having just returned from the same duties at Nevada. Mrs C. H BaiH has returned to Lund, after having snent a few lays of the past week on their homestead near Meryl. The stork flew over ur vicinity last Saturday c cnini; July 28th, and left a fine baby boy at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Meeler. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Sweeney and YVm. C. Jenkins report a most enjoyable time at Newcastle, at the Pioneer Day celebration. They were so highly entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Forsyth, and ex-prcat ex-prcat regrets that move Meryl and Yale citizen! could not attend. All1 would have been royally welcomed and entertained. The business meeting and elec-tiofl elec-tiofl of oliicers'schedulcd for Satur day last was postponed on account of inclement weather. All things being favorable, the meeting will be held next Saturday, August 4 Mrs. G. If. Meeler assisted by Mrs. Frank Shelley and Miss Jessie Jes-sie Cadwaltadar, entertained the members of the Pajama Class of the Armstrong chapel, on Thurs da) last. A delightful luncheon was served at noon and the afternoon after-noon was spent in doing fancy work and jollity. These meetings are to be held once a month, in order that we may become better acquainted. Mrs. Mary Meeker will be the hostess in August |
