Show PAROWAN ! Pnrowan, Utah, April 14, 1920. ! While tending his father's sheep, tho' Uttlo son of Walter Stubbs accidently! shot himself through the leg with a, 22-cal. rifle. As it was only a fleshn wound, ho is recovering all right. Mrs. Isaac Lcmmon, who died in tho hospital at St. Georgo last Sunday, was buried here yesterday. Mrs. Lemon was the proprietor of the Lcmmon Lcm-mon Hotel and will be greatly missed. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson havo, purchased the home of Dan Macfar-iane Macfar-iane for a consideration of $1200. Dan is going to invest in Delta property and will mnko his home there. Mrs. Gwen GuTr has bought tho beautiful home of R. M. Ogden, the consideration being $7,000. Mr. Ogden Og-den has a home and a farm in Richfield Rich-field where he will move to. j Tho young child of Johnny Dalton died yesterday with pneumonia. It has had tho whooping cough for some! time, nnd the little one could not stand' tho ravages of tho dread pneumonia, which developed a few days ago. i Miss Olive Moore and Johnny' Mitchell were married here Wedncs-' day. As the County Clerk was quar-' antined with the "flu," and could not leave his home, the young couple stood on the sidewalk while Mr.' Bentley. performed tho marriage ceremony, over the fence. The young couple will make their home in Pnrowan for the present. I Last Monday Pnrowan was quaran-, tined again for "flu." There is yet. quite a field for it to work in, as only about two-thirds of the peoplo have! had it. Tho schools wero closed on this account two weoks sooner thnn the scheduled time, leaving a great deal of unfinished "work in tho form of reports and examinations. Ofj , course tho students aro delighted oven escaping the exams, and I don't be-i lievo the teachers aro much disap- pointed. |
