Show . Society Mr. Wm. R. Palmer and family went to Virgin Sunday to spend Mother's Day with Mrs. Palmer's mother, Mrs.licc Isom. Mrs. Daniel Perkins and her daughters, daugh-ters, Mcsdames Claud Urio and Chas. Mosdcll, aro in Monticcllo visiting relatives rel-atives for a few works. Tho Sunday Schools of tho East and West Wards gave a dance last Tuesday Tues-day evening. Everyone present appeared ap-peared to bo enjoying themselves, nnd the affair was a success from every standpoint. Tho Perry orchestra furnished fur-nished tho music. Neat engraved invitations, bearing the embossed monogram of the school, aro out announcing tho data of tho annual B. A. C. Commencement, on May 25th. The program has not yet mnde its appearance, but is expected soon. Tho school has had a largo attendance at-tendance nnd an exceptionally successful suc-cessful year. Tho commencement exorcises ex-orcises should proVo inspiring and entertaining, en-tertaining, as usual. Last Saturday night at tho B. A. C. tho Ladies' Serving Class entertained in a most delightful manner, tho program pro-gram including dancing, games and various amusing stunts. Tho music was supplledvby Johnson's Orchestra nnd a delicious luncheon was served. Tho hostesses Were tho Mcsdames Ab-bio Ab-bio Corry, Ada Loigh, Lillian Corry, nnd tho Misses Cathio Webster and Helen Nelson. A most cnjoyablo evening ev-ening is reported by thoso present. |
