Show WHY CANT CEDAR CITY DO AS MUCH? H . Tho Parents class of both wards of Nephi appointed a B "steering commitee" to take up the matter of amusements in our I community. This move will be I welcomed by the people of Ne- phi. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." I The committee will first take I up the question of trying to ir- B duco the city cbuncil to dispose of all three parks and put the I money so derived into one park close to town centrally located. I Every man, woman, and child I will be called upon to lay aside their daily toils on Thursday af- ternoon of each week and join in the sports and recreation. A move will be made to furnish a gymnasium so the bos and . girls will have some place to spend the winter evenings. One of the main objects of "the committee com-mittee will be to better the moral mor-al conditions of our city and to enlist the support of every true citizen to assist them in accomplishing accom-plishing the undertaking. One of the strongest organizations in our city at present is the Parents Par-ents Class. These classes take in all the parents of our town irre- Ispective of his or her belief. A united effort on the part of this organization will work wonders in our community and will be the means of more and better amusements, less lawlessness, less "blind pigs" and "blind tigers" tig-ers" in our community. "In unity un-ity there is strength." Let every ev-ery body become a member of the parents class, get behind this . committee and assist in stamping stamp-ing out some of the evils that are prevalent among us today. By providing more amusements .we will have less crime. The idea of taking everything from the young people and giving nothing in return is a mistake and is to a large extent, responsible respon-sible for some of the conditions that exist among us today.
