Show Wheat and Irrigation i In todav's Record appears "a lengthy extract from the last News Letter issued by tho National Copper Bank of Salt Lake City, which treats of the wheat raising situation in the west, and more particularly in the arid regions. This article is so full of good, hard common-sense, common-sense, that we feel it can be read with great profit pro-fit by every owner of farm lands in the state, and we reprint it for the benofit of our readers. The man who is at present raising wheat or who has land that ho desires to ultimately plant to profitable pro-fitable crops, should read the entire article. A point which tho writer of tho article states with special emphasis is that formers should abandon tho raising of wheat by irrigation and confine thoir efforts to dry land, and the reasons advanced aro certainly logical and worth careful consideration. |
