It matters not with agitators that civil and religious liberty formed the ground j work of the Constitution, and that every citizen, be he Christian, Jew, j j agnostic or atheist, Etand on an equal- ! ity before the law, and are equally Cjualified as long as they conduct themselves as good citizens to fill the oMiee to which they may be elected.
