Show Moving From the Pro-Cathedral. On Thursday morning, Dec. 26, Rev. Father Ryan andhis force of devoted workers vvirre at the pro-Cathedi al by 8 a. in., and the working of moving began. By 6 o'clock the same evening the altars, the. benches, the gas fixtures, fix-tures, the organs, the vestments, in short, every thing necessary was in the Cathedral hall. The work done was truly wonderful, so short wa? the time. Then the devoted ones began to place everything in the hall that the masses could be said in Sundav. So successful were" they that Sunday every one said, "even the chronic kickers." "Why. everything seems lovely and just the same. How ever was it done?" it was done by Father Ryan and the earnest, true men under him. Their tired backs, muscles and bones could tell "how it was done" very readily. To use dear Bishop's words. "Father Ryan is a wonder," and every one who knows him adds. "May-God bless him." "j |
