Show CHEYENNE, WYO. Distribution of Honors at Academy "of Holy Child Jesus. ' (Special Correspondence.) Cheyenne, Wyn. July 1. The annual an-nual distribution of honors and prizes took place in the convent on Monday, June 26. The blue ribbons for good conduct among the High school girls were merited by the following children: Misses Elizabeth Keefe, Rolla Morse, Julia Brown, Cora Davidson Da-vidson and Margaret Holliday. The green ribbons among the children of the grammar grades were merited by Misses Mary Cross, Mary Smith. Ivan Kanatcher, Georgie Sullivan. Margaret Coughlin, Lurline Williams, Madeline Farley, Joyce Sullivan, Theodora Mc-Hugh Mc-Hugh and Elizabeth Doody. The red ribbons among the juniors were merited by Misses Clara Ahrens, Nan Dinneen and Marie McFarlane. The badges of good conduct ,vere merjted by Masters George. Barlow, Fred Ahrens, James Nicholson. Froilon Lombri, Willie Lynch, Frank Astley and Ralph Herod. The doctrine prizes were awarded to the following children:' In the fourth year' the gold medal donated by Mr. George Thompson of Omaha, to Miss Aileen Sullivan.- In the third, - second and first years the silver medals donated do-nated by Mr. C. McGarvey of Cheyenne Chey-enne to Miss Nellie Martin, Miss Sadie Lynch and Miss Mary Keogh. -' ;In the eighth grape Miss Ethel .War-laumont .War-laumont obtained the prize. In the sixth grade, Miss Catherine McKenzie. In the fifth grade, iMaster Albert Heb-schwerlen. Heb-schwerlen. In the fourth grade. Miss Nora Finnerty. In the third grade. Miss Maria Kleet. In the second grade. Master Abraham Moore. In the first grade, Loretta Stapleton and Lawrence Law-rence Truckey. The gold and silver medals for good conduct donated by Mr. T. Cosgriff of Cheyenne were awarded to Miss Elizabeth Thompson and Miss Margaret Marga-ret Coughlin. The prizes for plain sewing was awarded to Miss Martha Day and that for embroidery to Miss Mattie Gore. The distribution ;of promotion cards was made to the children in each class who merited the required average for passing. The junior division of the school gave a pretty programme before the honors were distributed. Those taking part in the musical selections were: Misses Lizzie Niland. Bessie Marks. Gertrude Mark, Mary Rice, Ivah Kunatcher, Carrie Welsh, besides those who took part in the orchestra. The little ones' sons. "Mother Hubbard's Hub-bard's Dog-," was very sweet and so was their recitation, "Three Little Mice," which was said by Misses Christian Rath, Nellie Russell, Julia Gillespie, Beatrice Carroll, Aileen Guy. Marie McFarlane, Loretta Stapleton and Lucille McHugh. The boys'fsong. "The Mole and the Bat," was one of the attractive numbers of the programme. pro-gramme. The concert was concluded by the . beautiful hymn to St. Aloysius. which j was well sung by all the children.
