Show anaconda: Salt Lake and San Francisco capitalists capital-ists contemplate starting a national bank in Anaconda to be known as the Anaconda' National bank, with a capital capi-tal of $100,000. They have proceeded with the utmost quietness up to this time. -Sr-li is said that Senator W. A. Clark is about to become the owner of the famous fa-mous Bitter Root stock farm in Montana, Mon-tana, on. which the late Marcus Dalyl spent millions. Tha ranch is famous as having been the former home of such noted horses as Hamburg, Tammany, Tam-many, Montana, Ogden, Lux Castata and many others. It consists of 123,000 acres, of which about 20,000 are under cultivation. W. J. Walsh, for some time past in the employ of the Northwest Coal company com-pany of Butte, has purchased the cigar business of John R. Walkup of this city. Mr. Walsh has been made local manager mana-ger of the coal company for Anaconda and will have his office in the place of business he has just purchased. Mrs. V. McMullen departed last week for Wisconsin. Mr. McMullen will follow fol-low shortly and will take up his residence resi-dence at Ottawa. 111. |
