The Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been reorganized since the opening of school. Sister Marion is directoress of the girls' sodality and succeeded in having 120 young girls receive Hob- Communion Sunday in honor of the Mother of God. Sister Marion was in charge of the sodality for five years previous to last year, when she was changed to St. Joseph's j school, Walkerville. At the beginning of school she was transferred back to j St. ' Vincent's academy, much to the delight of her soda'ist band. i Promptly at S o'clock the sodality, bearing its beautiful blue and gold banner, entered the cathedral. While the girls were entering Miss Lemva Klei played "Tannhauser March." Rev. Father Sullivan celebrated Mass and gave them Holy Communiyn.-Miss Communiyn.-Miss Lody St. Germaine sang the "Ave Maria" , and Miss Mattie Harrington rendered the vocal solo, "Immaculate." Immediately after Mass on Communion Commun-ion Sundays the office of the Blessed Virgin is recited. On all other Sundays Sun-days the sodality meets at St. Vincent's Vin-cent's academy at 2 p. m. for prayers and recitation of the office.
