Besides being a most delightful affair, the event netted a nice little sum for the orphans. . Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gokey moved 1 into their new home on Eighth avenue. 1 It has been modernized in every detail, elegantly furnished and fitted up, and is now one of the most comfortable and cosy homes in the capital city. Mrs. J. D. O'Brien and niece. Miss Agnes O'Boyie, are making an extended visit with friends and relatives in Butte and Anaconda. Mrs. Elizabeth Gannon and family will shortly leave for Great Falls to take up their residence there. Mrs. Gannon and family are devout members of the Cathedral congregation and will be greatly inissed in religious and social so-cial circles. I Miss Mary Sullivan has taken charge j of Miss Blaisdell's school in East Helena, Hel-ena, while Miss Blaidell is attending the teachers' institute in Fort Benton as one of the instructors. Miss Zella Hayes is visiting relatives in Great Falls. A number of the young friends of Marie Voss surprised her at her home last Wfw1npsfl.iv fvenin!- the event he- ing her fifteenth birthday. A general good time was enjoyed by the party. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Carter left Wednesday for Seattle. Sunday evening while the family of S. E. Nicholson were attending evening services at the Cathedral, their home was broken into by some unknown persons and robbed of many valuable article's and jewelry. |
