Show Obituary.. J M'BRIDE. Mr. and Mrs. Albert McBride have the heartfelt sympathy of hosts of friends in the crushing sorrow caused by the death of their only child. Thomas, Thom-as, who died last week after a brief illness. ill-ness. The funeral occurred on Sunday from E. G. O'Donnell's undertaking parlors. Rev. Fatner Curran, who effieiated, delivered de-livered a beautiful and impressive sermon, ser-mon, that was indeed consoling to the bereaved parents and other relatives. Miss Corinne Harris of the Cathedral choir sang two hymns very sweetly. News of the lad's death brought tears to the eyes of all who knew and loved the winsome child. With his handsome hand-some face, his manly little form and sweet baby ways, little "Tom," as he was called, endeared himself to all, and the bereaved young parents are inconsolable. incon-solable. The loss is heartbreaking and the only comfort for them is that God knows best when He takes to Himself the innocent . angels of this sad old earth. Tenderly and wisely, lie takes away the little ones, who are too sweet and pure to even hear a whisper of sorrow or sin. May the sorrowing parents par-ents be comforted with the remembrance remem-brance that their loss means eternal gain for dear baby "Tom." who is safe and happy forever with the Divine One, who said: "Suffer little children to c:me to Me. because eff such is the kingdom of heaven composed." |
