Show PARK CITY, UTAH. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. McGill were in the city last week. Miss Kate O'Brien from the city visited vis-ited for a few days with her sister, Mrs. Joseph Bircumshaw last week. Mrs. L. A. Condon of Salt Lake visited vis-ited with her sister, Mrs. F. A. McCarty a few days last week. A very sad death was that of Mary Ann Elizabeth Surgue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Surgue. which occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Jan. 10. Miss Surgue had been ill about a week with appendicitis and on Monday was operated op-erated upon for that disease. She was beyond all human aid, however, and despite all' efforts of physicians and loving parents to save her the end came as above stated. 1 Deceased was lfi years, 6 months and " " days old and was born in Everest, Mich, though she had resided with her parents in this city for a number of years past. She was a bright and cheerful cheer-ful girl, a general favorite with all who knew her, and a joy to her now heart-bioken heart-bioken parents, who. in their great sorrow, sor-row, have the sympathy of a host of friends. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon after-noon from the Catholic church, and v as largely attended. Rev. Father Gal-lagan Gal-lagan preached a touching and impressive impres-sive sermon. Six young girl friends of the dT ceased acted as pall bearers. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gallivan came up from the city Mondav morning. i -4 Mrs. Dan B. Shields returned Sunday morning from Salt Lake, where she had 'been to attend the funeral of her grandmother. grand-mother. Mrs. Loring. W. V. Rice, W. S. McCornick and F. J. AVfstcott were in the Park Tuesday r.ttending the annual meeting of the directors di-rectors of the Silver Kin,x Mining company. com-pany. Aside from reading the annual report and attending to routine business busi-ness nothing was done. 4- Miss Maude Hurley returned to Salt Lake on Tuesday. 4 Mrs. M. J.
