Clarke and Hugh Rogan will represent the Helena branch of A. O. H. at the convention in Boston. Miss Elizabeth M. Harney of Galena, Ga-lena, HI., is on a visit to her nister, Mrs. Frank Lynch, with whom she will spend the summer. Mrs. William s! McCarthy Mc-Carthy ia the state agent of this excellent ex-cellent company, and Miss Bessie M. Lawler, who filled so ably the position posi-tion of cashier of the company in Butte, will have charge of the office work in their new quarters. Mrs. Eliza M.ier. mother of Mrs. J. J. McIIatton. died on Saturday after noon, April 2S, at her home, corner Broadway and Academy s'trfets. The deceased was bo:Ji in England, and at the time of her death was, fiS years old. Mrs. Morier came to Montana with her husband in 1S6.1. and has' resided in Butte for the last twenty-four years, where she was highly esteemed.' particularly partic-ularly by the old-time Montanans. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, af-ternoon, from the Episcopal- church, where services were held. The many friends of Mr. Thomas Me-loy Me-loy and Miss Kate Burke are congratulating congrat-ulating them over their marriage, which was solemnized at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Butte on last Sunday Sun-day afternoon. They were attended by Mr. W. H. Meloy and Miss Anna Burke, a brother and. sister of the groom and bride, respectively, as groomsman and bridesmaid. Mr. Meloy Me-loy is a foreman at the upper works. The bride is a member of the Burke Sisters' millinery store, and a very popular lady. |
