Show A recent fire at Salamanca, N. Y.. almost al-most destroyed the convent ana school of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The elegant new school erected In Erie, Pa., by St. Stanislaus Polish congregation congrega-tion has been dedicated. The building is an imposing four-story structure, containing con-taining sixteen class rooms, gymnasium and bath rooms. St. Vincent de Paul s Society of San Francisco has petitioned the board of supervisors su-pervisors of that place to provide a new-city new-city and county hospital. A resolution to that effect is now before the board for action. A wonderful Catholic violinist may soon be touring this country. The phenomenon phenome-non Is a Spanish boy. Angel Blaneo. Keiley has resigned as a judge of the international court in Egypt. He is a Catholic, a brother of the bishop of Savannah, a former mayor of Richmond. Va.. and a prominent member mem-ber of the Irish Catholic Benevolent l'nion. His wife is a Jewess. He will be welcomed home by a wide circle of friends. The countenance of a young man is the resplendence of the countenance of God it is impossible to see a virgin soul imprinted on a pure face without being moved with a sympathy full of tenderness and respect.
