Show America's Ultra-Imperialism. Vienna, April 29. During the debate on the budget in the reichsrath today, Herr Kolischer, a prominent Polish member and a large manufacturer, declared de-clared the Austrian tariff must be prohibitive, pro-hibitive, unless the empire was willing to be devoured by the United States, whose "McKinley" and "Dingley" poli-I poli-I cies had been fololwed by an imperialism imperial-ism which enabled her to oppress the rest of the world. The question was, said Herr Kolischer, whether Austria should determine and control her own national policy, or disappear as a nation na-tion and become a sort of American colony. I |
