Little, who has been ill for some time, is rapidly improving. Dr. M. A. Hughea has returned from Chicago, where he has been for four weeks inspecting special lines of work in the Chicago hospital Senator Kearns left Monday morning morn-ing for Washington to attend the opening open-ing session of the senate, and will stop en route at the World's fair. Mrs. Kearns will join him a little later. The senator returns home for the holidays. Miss Salisbury returned to the city Tuesday from Chicago and St. Louis. Frank Norton, one of Nevada's big sheep raisers, was in the city Tuesday. M. T. Lynch and A Service of New York have been in Salt Lake several days 011 business. Mr. Lynch is one of the original believers in the future of Tonopah, and still has large holdings there. f Mrs. Senator Kearns reported at th police station Wednesday afternoon the disappearance of her little girl, whom ( the feared might have been kidnaped. Ferguson is taking a vacation vaca-tion in California. Frank J. Gustin will leave next week for Nebraska to visit relatives. Miss Canning sister of Robert Canning Can-ning of this city, and a very charming young girl, has arrived in Salt Lake and has accepted a position with Walker Wal-ker Bros. Fred Wilson has purchased the Ko-litz Ko-litz Candy company stores and is quite the busiest man in Salt Lake preparing ; for the holiday rush. Associated with Mr. Wilson are Mrs. J. Kirk and Mr. and Mrs. W. Morgan. Mr. Wilson is the manager of the store and i his alone is proof that success will attend the business. |
