The first of three preliminary debates that are to decide who shall represent the University of Wyoming in the debate de-bate to take place in May next with a team representing the University of i Denver, was held at the auditorium in this city. The subject discussed on this j occasion was: "Resolved. That Muni- I cipalities Should Own and Operate Public Utilities. " The meeting between the two teams of the universities was held in . Denver last year, and will be held in Laramie this year. Tt is expected ex-pected that the representatives of the Wyoming institution will be selected about Feb. 15.
