Show ANACONDA NOTES. Miss Belle McCaffery has returned from an extended visit in Great Falls. , The altar society is in a most flourishing flour-ishing condition. Dues and meetings are regularly attended to. . The Children of Mary recently purchased pur-chased an organ for their, own special use at services and meetings. The new organ purchased from the proceed1 of Father MeCorry's lecture will be in place and ready for Xmas services. Midnight mass will be celebrated with the pomp and solemnity becoming the advent cf the Infant Christ The choir, under the direction of Miss Mary MoCabe, will render Mozart's Mass. ir- The Misses O'Brien, whose place of business is under the A. O. H. hall, have charge of the interests of the Intermountain Inter-mountain Catholic in Anaconda. Subscriptions Sub-scriptions may be handed in there. All information regarding the paper will be, cheerfully furnished with sample copies. cop-ies. At a meeting of the Catholic Foresters For-esters Thursday night, Dec 21, Messrs. Joseph Hennigan and Michael Kelly were admitted to membership. This society numbers at present 160 members in good standing, and is in every way a credit to Anaconda. Rev. Father Fol-let Fol-let is chaplain. At the close of the meeting an adjournment was made to the A. O. H. annual ball, where - a happy time was spent by all. Mr. and Mrs. J. Leary were agreeably agree-ably surprised Friday evening, Dec. 22, by a party of friends. Progressive whist and refreshments filled the passing pass-ing hours. Miss Annie O'Brien won the "booby prize" and Mrs. Murphy won the first award. Rev. Father Coopman graced the occasion with his presence and genial humor. Miss N. Long, sister of Mrs. Leary. is the party responsible for the ambush and pleasant evening. Mr. and Mrs. Leary leave shortly to reside in Butte. |
