Show DENVER SOCIAL NOTES. Justice John I. Mullins will be married mar-ried to Miss Doyle at Sacred Heart Church, Dec. 26. f Mrs. Robert Yeamans of Trinidad and Miss Anna Yeamans of New York are visiting Mrs. Roger D. . Teaman. The former will remain about a week, while Miss Yeamans will spend, the winter in the city. . Mrs. Thomas Hayes and Master Willie Wil-lie returned last Monday, afternoon from a four months', trip to California, where they visited her brofher, John D. McGilvray. On their way home they spent several diays at Salt Lake City with other relatives. j The Misses Mullen opened their beautiful beau-tiful home at 896 Pennsjdvania avenue to the Young Ladies' Clio- club and their gue6ts Thursday afternoon. It was a "Dutch" day and the young" ladies la-dies looked charming in their "Holland-aise" "Holland-aise" costumes. AH' enjoyed the "Deutsch" refreshments rye ' bread, pickles, pretzels and coffee. Miss Wright welcomed the guests with some pleas-ant remarks and introduced Mrs. James H. Baker, who made a delightful address. Mrs Wetzel played two piano pi-ano solos. Mrs. Decker was called upon to tell some of heir stories. Miss Knapp sang "A A'iolet" and "A Dutch Song" sweetly. Mrs.-" Lobinger .represented the Woman's club and made some remarks. re-marks. Miss lima Walbrach played a violin solo, accompanied by her sister. Miss Renee Pels read the paper of the afternoon. "A Day in New Amsterdam." Amster-dam." Miss Charlotte Becker closed the programme with two of her charming charm-ing solos. Among the guests, were Mesdames T. M. Patterson Dougan, W. H. Kistler, Kerr. Roberts. Jones, Corn- ' forth. Appel, Kennard, Misses Frances Clark, Ida Lydon and Miss Ford of New York, Miss Goldberg cf Salt Lake. The club will give a Christmas tree to 100 poor children on Wednesday. Dec. 27. at Unity church. All donations are to be sent to 'Miss Wheeler. 1441 Stout street. The next meeting will be Jan. 11, at the home of Mrs. Michaels, 2936 Champa street.- |
