Show Lackaye's Description. Vilton Lackaye, the player, whose caustic wit has furnished more than one good story, was at one time a member of a stock company in Chicago that made short trips through Inuiana and Illinois in the spring. Among the company was a young chap, the leading Juvenile, who wa3 a native of Evansvilie, Ind., and it was largely due to his repeated readings that the manager consented to give" o.ie performance in that town. On the company's return to Chicago some one asked Lackaye what sort of a. reception the leading juvenile's townsmen towns-men had given him.
