Show Sacred Heart Aid Society. The postponed meeting of the Sacred Heart Ladies' Aid society took place Thursday afternoon. May 9? at the home of Mrs. W. T. Crean, 2137 Lin-, coin avenue. Much business of importance im-portance was transacted, after which the guests were delightfully entertained enter-tained by a program of music and elocution. elo-cution. Miss Alice McLaughlin contributed con-tributed some of her inimitable recitations, recita-tions, while Miss Bessie Crean. youngest young-est daughter of the hostess, "added much to the day's pleasure by her vocal vo-cal solos. All the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Crean are gifted with musical mu-sical talents, which find expression both vocally and instrumentally. and Miss Bessie fully sustains the family reputation.
