If they 'would impose a $2 tax upon all who do not come back on a visit, the revenue possibilities of the scheme would be greatly increased, and the home-coming home-coming wayfarer would smile with satisfaction when he pays to think of the dollar he is saving. The whole scheme is as worthy of serious attention atten-tion as some other tax-squeezing processes which are brought forth every time a state gets hard pressed for money. 1 |
