Milan and Venice in Italy, going thence to Paris, where we temained a month. We had intended going down into Egypt and the Holy Land before we returned, but reports of crowded hotels and much sickness prevailing in those countries induced us to defer that porti'Vfi of the trip. We spent some time V Iondon and different parts of England, and arrived in New York on the 2Sth day of March. Paris was very lively, and my opinion of the town was improved considerably on this trip over what it had been from previous visiis. The weather in most of the countries was uncomfortable for the most part, and the sunrhine of Salt Lake looks good to us once more. Mr. and Mrs. Daly arc looking well after their long tour. The party returned without any unpleasant un-pleasant incident to mar the trip. Those composing the familv partv were Mr. and Mrs. Daly. Miss Edora Daly, Evelyn Dily and Master Morris Daly. One of the finest and most attractive signs on Main street was on exhibition last night over the Salt Lake Security & Abstract Co. The sign serves as an invitation to efiter and inspect that prosperous institution. Nowhere west of the Missouri will be found such fine and costly work. The marble pillars and stairways leading to the bronze safety boxes protected by double massive mas-sive doors and highly decorated gate way attract the attention of passers-by passers-by on the sidewalk. The large and ornamental or-namental sign tells that the safety boxes will be open day and night. This accommodation, so essential for modern mod-ern business and the present growth of our city, will be appreciated by the citizens ci-tizens of Salt Lake who need security 2nd protection for valuable articles in the nighttime.
