Charles Healey leaves soon for Miller?, Mil-ler?, Nev., where he has accepted a position po-sition as electrician. Miss Charlotte McEwing and Miss Anna Joyce entertained the S. S.. C. club at a dance Saturday afternoon last. Those present were: George Christian. Willie Young. Flavin, Crowe, Joyce, Flaks, Hartwiz and McEwing. A number of the friends of Charlie Healey tendered him a surprise party on Friday evening of last week prior to his departure for Millers. Nev. Music Mu-sic and games were the features of the evening, and at a late hour a most delicious de-licious lunch was served. The Commercial club of St. Mary's school gave a dance and reception in the Knights of Columbus hall Monday evening of last week, which was at tended by more than 100 couples, ne dancing was conducted on the main floor of the hall, when simple decorations decora-tions in the school colors lent an air of elegance to the surroundings. An eight-piece orchestra furnished music for the occasion. On the second floor two long tables were spread and filled with good things to eat. The school colors were also displayed here as in the dance hall. Members of the club acted as waitresses. The festivities continued until midnight, the affair being voted one of the pleasantest of tho season by al! who were present. The following officiated: Arrangements, Arrange-ments, J. J Movnahan. P. An Easter Monday ball was given last Monday evening by division No. 1 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. The dancing program included twenty-four twenty-four numbers.
