D. nr Nieces and Nephews : Aunt Busy ,lot.s not like to jtreaoli or scold, but she has a little ' !. uire in store for her girls and boys this week. - . 'Hn i 1 he. lime of the year when ihe fdrls and' l.oys prepare for their first Holy Communion, and Aunt Busy hope .that the dear children realize the iniportanee of preparing: well for the frreat event. Wiierever tliere is a church you will find the priest in ehnre only anxious to teach the dear youuK- ehildren ihe catechism. Ho waits patiently for ihe ehildren to attend the daily instruction, and lie instructs them patiently and well. Now, what about ihe duly the children owe the pood priests, who take -uch a warm interest in their spiritual welfare f Should not the ehildren faithfully attend the instructions '. Should they not prepare tlvir lessons well? Should they not listen with strict attention to ihe instructions riven each day; Should they not attend faithfully each day the instructions? There are many children who do not attend: who do not nrenare tlieir lnrn. ,.:,.-. have all kinds of excuses to remain away. There are music lessons, school lessons, parties, roller skatinfr rink parties and many other reasons for not attending instructions. Last Sunday Aunt Busy was so anpry because she eaucht a little pirl deliberately walking- off just as Sunday school began. be-gan. Now. this little girl is a really good little girl, but she will associate with giris older than herself and ihese girls think themselves too "'lnV or too "smart' to attend Sunday school, so they remain away, and what is worse they induce this little girl to remain away also. Aunt Busy wishes 10 remind these older girls that a great sin rests m their souls, though they may ignore the fact. To commit a sin personally is bad enough, but to make another commit a sin, particularly a little' child, is a very grievous sin. The next time Aunt Busy finds this small girl going away on Sunday, she intends to toll the small girl's mother, and the small girl will get what Aunt Busy used to get when she was a small girl and she too "sneaked"' Sunday school. She will get a good dose of the "hair-brush.r and Aunt Busy trusts it will be "wire hair-brush,"' too. (iood-bye. dear nieces and nephews. neph-ews. Tour cross old AUNT BUSY. LETTERS AND ANSWERS.
