Show Seeking Able Bodied Men For UJS. Army The Army recruiting stations In the Intermountain region will continue con-tinue to accept men for enlistment enlist-ment in the Army during September, Septem-ber, according to Colonel B. E. Grey, Recruiting officer. Assignments open are: 38th Infantry, In-fantry, Fort Douglas, Utah; 7th Infantry, near Portland, Oregon; 4th Infantry at Spokane, Washington, Washing-ton, and Missoula, Montana. Colonel Grey stated that recruit- ing sergeants will make visits during dur-ing the month to several cities and towns in Utah and Idaho to accept young men for enlistment. The exact date of such visits may be secured from the local postmaster post-master or by writing to the recruiting re-cruiting office nearest the applicant's appli-cant's home. The Recruiting stations serving Utah, Idaho, Eastern Nevada, and Western Wyoming, are located at 223 Ness Building, Salt Lake City, in the Federal Buildings at Ogden, Utah, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Boise, Idaho, and In the City hall at Twin Falls,' Idaho. Colonel Grey also pointed out that single men who have been honorably discharged from the Army are now being offered an opportunity of remaining with the Regular Army In an inactive status, sta-tus, by enlisting in the Regular Army Reserve. Complete information informa-tion concerning such enlistment, can be obtained at any of the recruiting stations listed above. An enlistment in the Regular Army Ar-my Reserve does not require men to perform any duty except in 'case of an emergency declared by I the . President. |
