Show Mrs.; H. LaFount Died Thursdav , : J ! In Washington Mrs. Alma Robinson LaFount, former resident of Logan and wife of Harold A. LaFount, died Thursday in a sanitarium in Washington Wash-ington p. C. Acconpahied' by her "husband and other relatives, the body is being taken to Salt Lake City where funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Sunday. Mrs. LaFount suffered a stroke early in the year, and died as the result of a second stroke. Mrs. LaFount was born at Montpelier, Idaho; was graduated jfrom the Utah State Agricultural college and for many year was a resident of Logan and of Salt Lake City. She spent many years working for the Primary Children's, hospital. hospi-tal. When Mr. LaFount was appointed appoint-ed a member of the federal radio commission in 1927 his family went with him- to Washington. At the close of his service on the commission Mr. LaFount remained in Washington, representing several sev-eral eastern broadcasting companies. compan-ies. Besides her husband, Mrs. La-Fount La-Fount is survived by four daughters, dau-ghters, Mrs. Karl M. Richards of Paris, France; Mrs. George W. Romney of Washington, D. C; Mrs. John Scowcroft of Ogden and Mrs. Harry Colby of Los Angeles; An-geles; by a sister, Mrs. William Klrkup of Logan, and two brothers, bro-thers, Robert Robison of Salt Lake City and Charles Robison of! Burley, Idaho. J |
