Show Welch, Carma ' Stauffer, Leola Richards, Carrol - Gibbs, Carma Whitney. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Morgan who have been attending the Iowa State university for the past 14 months, have returned and will be guests of Mrs.' Morgan's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Welch, until the USAC commences where Mr.- Morgan is a teacher in the speech ; department. A nicely arranged ar-ranged dinner was given Sunday by Mrs. Welch. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie R. Gosney and daughters Doris and Betty of Oakley,' Idaho were guests of Mrs. Gosney's parents, Mr. and . Mrs. Peter M. Larsen on Sunday. Wood, spent Friday at Brigham. Twenty-three Deacons and Teachers Tea-chers and Bishop H. C. Sorensen, Arthur Kidman, John Welch and Orval Ladle enjoyed a sight seeling see-ling trip to Salt Lake Saturday . I while there they visited the state capitol building, visited with Pres. Heber , J. Grant. They were each given a card with Pres. Grant's 'name on, which he wrote when he was 80 years old. They went in the tabernacle and bureau of information and many other places of interest. The Relief Society enjoyed an outing Friday at the home of Mrs. ; Hannah Buist. Community songs were sung and Mrs. Buist read a jpoem on "Some of the Old Characters Char-acters of Mendon". Composed by jher brother Alexander Baker of ,Salt Lake City and several of her own compositions. Contest games were played and prizes were awarded to Zina Baker, Mary E. Sorensen, Sadie Baker and Eu-lalia Eu-lalia Welch. Refreshments were served by the presidency, Mary I A. Bird, Hannah Whitney, Vera iShelton, Selma Hancock lvalue Smith. The Sea Gull girls with their leader Mrs. Annie Hughes and Anna Hughes enjoyed a luncheon on the hill Wednesday and a candy can-dy pull on Friday at the home of Miss Jaunita Wood.
