Show ii i i i ii. , SNOW COLLEGE NEWS Edward Christensen of Centerfield, is one of the Snow debaters who will j present a debate before the student body of the Gunnison Valley high school Friday, March 15, according to Fern Young, debate coach. The debate de-bate will be given to acquaint high 1 school students with some of the principles of debate. The debate will be on: "Resolved; that the nations should agree to prevent the international interna-tional shipment of arms and munitions." muni-tions." 1 Snow college ended her regular basketball season last Saturday night and tied for first place in the Utah Jaysee league with Dixie nd B. A. C. The series last week-end was played ' with Weber. Snow came from, behind to win the first game 44-38. The sec-, sec-, ond night, however, found Snow on the short end of the score. In the play-off for Utah honors, Ricks college, col-lege, winner of the Idaho junior college col-lege championship, will meet the three Southern Utah teams in a round-robin tournament. The time and place for the meet has not been settled yet but it is probable that it will' be in St. George or Cedar City on March 21, 22 and 23. The annual high school senior day at Snow has been changed from March 29 to May 3, according to P. J. Gurney, chairman in charge Of the day. High schools have expressed themselves as not being ready for the forensic and athletic contests which have been scheduled. |
